Other Squads that have entered in the series are from Swan Hill, Rich River, Kyabram, Shepparton, Gisborne, Ballarat, Bendigo, South Bendigo, Sedgwick and Echuca South. There are around 180 players in total playing in the series.
Our team performed extremely well on the day, showing the great improvements they have all made to their games which has stemmed from a consistent and determined training focus since the start of the year.
The focus for the day was on our own performances and playing to improve. We defined our success on the day by sticking to our own technical and tactical development, and focusing on team work and sportsmanship. The coaches were extremely pleased that all players achieved this. The great performances from our players also resulted in them taking some wins over higher ranked opponents, and 2 of our team playing in finals matches.
We are back on the training court now after a good recovery and reflection of the day, and have set some new goals for our next series event being held on the June 19th.
