BSE through to SSV state finals

Runners perform in LMR titles

Congratulations to all BSE athletes that competed at the Regionals Cross Country at St Arnaud on June 6.

BSE took a large team of 36 runners with seven out of eight possible teams competing. Overall our teams performed strongly, with our 13 Boys, 14 Boys, 14 Girls, 15 Boys and 16 Boys all progressing through to the SSV State Finals in Melbourne. 


We also had a number of place getters, including Luke Salvador (1st) Ruben de Silvia-Smith (1st), Ruben White (3rd), Wil McCaig (1st), Mitch O'Neil (2nd), Matt Buckell (3rd), Tullie Rowe (2nd), Bridie Blake-Burrows (3rd) and Riley Osborne (3rd) in their individual age groups. 


Results from our winning teams are: 

13 Boys — Luke Salvador 1st, Lachy Warren 5th, Kobi Hall 13th, Toby McCaig 18th and Matthew Baxter 23rd 

14 Girls — Jasmine Santley 4th, Jazlin Fear 8th, Tiarni Shackles 14th and Montanna Maud 43rd 

14 Boys — Ruben de Silva-Smith 1st, Ruben White 3rd, Isaac Fletcher 5th, Rhys Beamish 20th and Arshdeep Singh 47th 

15 Boys — Wil McCaig 1st, Mitch O’Neill 2nd, Matt Buckell 3rd, Ned Buckell 4th and Jack Meade 8th 

16 Boys — Riley Osborne 3rd Cam Anderson 4th, Declan Osborne 6th, Alex Jenkyn 7th and Darcy McClure 18th


BSE again will have large team of 29 athletes competing at SSV State Finals early next term at Bundoora in Melbourne.
