BSE Students Art Inspired Tour - Melbourne

BSE Students Discover Art in Melbourne

On Wednesday 19 August, 40 students from Collaborative Arts went with Ms Brand and Ms Devlin on an Art Inspiration Day to Melbourne.

Students will soon be working on their own self-directed art projects, and were given a range of interesting artworks and artefacts to look at. First stop was the National Gallery of Victoria, where students explored traditional and contemporary works from Australia and around the world, like Asia and Europe.

After exploring the Melbourne laneways, Federation Square architecture, and having some lunch, students made their way to the Melbourne Museum. At the museum, students looked at anatomy, animals, plants, historical moments, and indigenous displays.

After a busy day, students have inspiration and ideas to bring back to the classroom and share with others
